FAQs

About Colonic Hydrotherapy

  • Colonic hydrotherapy is a gentle cleansing of the colon (large intestine) using warm, filtered water. The process helps to remove waste material and supports your body's natural detoxification processes. It's performed using modern, hygienic equipment in a private setting. The treatment is comfortable, dignified, and designed to help restore your body's natural balance.

  • People seek colonic hydrotherapy for various reasons, including:

    • Digestive issues like bloating and constipation

    • Low energy levels

    • Skin problems

    • Sleep difficulties

    • Supporting general wellbeing

    • Helping to establish better digestive habits

However, it's not suitable for everyone, and we'll discuss your individual circumstances before treatment.

  • During the treatment, warm filtered water is gently introduced into the colon through a small, disposable tube. This helps to soften and remove waste material while encouraging the colon's natural movement. The process is controlled, comfortable, and takes place in a private room with a qualified practitioner. Everything is conducted with complete dignity, and I'll explain each step as we go along.

  • The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people find significant benefit from a single session, while others prefer to book a course of treatments. During your first appointment, we'll discuss your health goals and create a treatment plan that's right for you. Many clients start with 1-3 sessions to see how their body responds, then we can adjust the frequency based on your results.

  • Colonic hydrotherapy should not be painful. You might experience some mild pressure or cramping sensations, which is normal as your colon moves water and releases waste. The temperature and flow of water are carefully controlled, and you can communicate with me at any time if you need adjustments. Most people find the treatment surprisingly comfortable and relaxing.
